Fred Bernhardt is a member of the Firm’s Estate Planning and Administration, Business Law and Real Estate Practice Groups.

Mr. Bernhardt has many years of experience in planning for family wealth transfers, including such techniques as revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, generation-skipping trusts, charitable trusts and private foundations.

He advises numerous closely held corporations on various corporate and tax matters including the acquisition and sale of assets and stocks, retirement planning and assisting senior business owners in transferring their businesses to succeeding generations and/or key employees. Mr. Bernhardt advises commercial real estate developers and others in the acquisition, development and financing of commercial shopping centers, office buildings and mixed use developments. He also represents banks and insurance companies in the closing of complex commercial loans.
