Little Black Dress Initiative

FGB Associate Attorney Quinn Novak is participating in the Little Black Dress Initiative, which is a fundraiser for the Junior League of Richmond to raise awareness about the impact of poverty on women in the Richmond area.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, of the 38.1 million people living in poverty in 2018, 56%– or 21.4 million– were women. In our community, 1 in 4 Richmonders live in poverty and women are 20% more likely to live in poverty than their male counterparts. Through our community focus of Women Helping Women, The Junior League of Richmond seeks to assist these women and their families through volunteer outreach and programming.

Overall, the Junior League does some great work in our community and makes a positive impact. In addition to Quinn’s involvement, both Kim Ramsey and Susanna Jones at FGB were involved with the Junior League as former members!

So far, Quinn has raised $180.00 toward her goal of raising $250.00 this week. If you feel so inclined to donate, here is the link to her fundraising page: https://htru.io/QWuy.
